M•METTIVS Venus standing front, head to left, resting left arm on shield set on globe, holding Victory in her right hand and long scepter in her left; in field to left, H. Babelon (Julia) 32 and (Mettia) 4. Crawford 480/3. RBW 1678. Sydenham 1056. An attractive example struck on a very broad flan. Areas of weakness and with light marks, otherwise, good very fine.
